WHY ITS STUDIED

Chemistry is a fundamental field of studying. Chemistry is studied in school for Grade 8s to introduce the students about how chemistry works and is used in our everyday lives with finding medicines, vitamins, and other elements. Studying this kind of unit in science gives us a benefit for the future and helps anyone understand how things like matter work on our everyday life.

In the Grades 9 and 10, they study chemistry for use of getting deeper understanding of matters and chemical reactions. They use the periodic table, reactions for physical and chemical, and bonding which all help students develop stronger critical thinking and problem solving skills through the help from all experimentations and laboratories. These two grades study chemistry because it helps students with connections of science relatable things to in real life related things, for instances materials, health, medicines, and more.

CONCLUSION
In conclusion, the unit of science — chemistry is studied throughout school of all grades to help students understand the basics of science. Moving up each grade, it progressively increases in challenges, allowing students to improve on their knowledge and skills as they learn. Chemistry does not only explain how the world works but it can also help us in our life for example our careers, food, medicines, vitamins, nutrients and goes on.

As a final point for the grade 11 and 12 students, they study chemistry at a more advanced level as a way of preparing the students for the future of post secondary school education and possible chemistry related careers. Each topic they explore in is well reviewed which leads to why it is mainly studied. Just like in previous grades, chemistry helps all students understand new technologies and analytical skills.
