CURRICULUM

In grade 8, chemistry is known for its topics of going over the basics of focusing on atoms, compounds, elements, and KMT shortened for ‘Kinetic Molecular Theory’. Similar to the other grades, they observe the periodic table as for any element in the table, they look at it as the number of elements

In grades 9 and 10, chemistry steps up as being more detailed. The students acquire information about atoms, elements, compounds, and reactions, and big topics from the periodic table are started to be introduced at that grade. At times when doing laboratory experiments, it is often required precise analyzing especially working with different sorts of materials. At the end, these two grades 9 and 10 will be more familiar with chemistry and have stronger understanding in developing both critical and problem solving skills needed for the next years.

ADDITIONAL RESOURCES
CONCLUSION

Overall, the unit chemistry is made to progressively improve each grade from 8 all the way to 12. With grade 8s starting with the introduction to the basic concepts on how chemistry works to slowly but surely building on, it helps students recognize how chemistry behaves what it is like to work with different materials. Altogether, through experiments, laboratories, and working together,it helps students gain the skills.

FUN FACT!

The way the periodic table is organized is by atomic number, which is also the number of protons in an atom.

SUMMARY IN BULLET POINTS

· Grade 8s are introduce to the topic 'KMT' (Kinetic Molecular Theory)

· Chemistry gets advanced for each grade

· Chemistry helps students grow their critical thinking, problem solving skills, while working with peers

· Laboratories are used to experiment with new materials

·Can be used for vitamins, nutrients, and other foods

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In grades 11 and 12, chemistry becomes more advanced within the work and topics. Their topics are specialized in foundational concepts for instances kinetic, atomic theory, periodic table, stoichiometry, thermochemistry, and it goes on. These require applying in strong understanding especially since some of these will be needed sometime in the real life world. Another thing is their laboratories are made to be more complex and advanced while emphasizing on safety and accuracy. In the future. chemistry will most likely be useful towards medicine and overall real life relations.
