WHY ITS STUDIED

In Grade 8, the subject French is studied in school to introduce the language itself. At this level, students learn basic parts of the vocabulary, phrases, and spelling by practicing with making small conversations, presentations, reading, or even listening to audios speaking in French. The focus is on progressively developing build on confidence. Grade 8 of French helps students become comfortable with the language.

In the two older Grades 11 and 12, French is the second language used globally and locally, so French is studied to build skills for instances communication and understanding of critical thinking. Another point of why it is studied is because of any potential careers and/or any opportunities in the future. French will be needed anytime is it is what some people use to communicate daily.​

CONCLUSION
Overall, studying French from all grades of Grades 8 to 12 allows students to gain the understanding of the language in a supportive manner. Within each grade, they teach French in an advanced way for students to understand the culture, language, improve communication. and build better grammar. Therefore, this course is studied as it will possibly be useful for anywhere outside of school such as careers, education, or just our everyday lives.

In Grades 9 and 10, the classes for French continue off from Grade 8 with expansion on their vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension. These are studied because this helps students develop deeper understanding for the language, be open minded to exploring new education/opportunities, and abilities. Another important thing as an impact is because of wanting to understand their culture better, and/or for personal growth.
