In Grade 8 of the subject French, it introduces students to the language of basic French vocabulary. Here, students learn the most general vocabulary, sentences on trying to start conversations, basic grammar, and essentials on listening and speaking skills. This grade focuses on building the confidence and courage to speak to other people in a language other than English.

In Grades 9 and 10, the fundamentals from the previous year of grade 8 expand as the French vocabulary helps students to continue developing stronger reading, writing, and socializing skills while learning more words.

Finally in Grades 11 and 12, they focus on the preparation process of students for the use of French outside of school. Students work hard on language fluency, improving on spellings when writing, complex conversations with peers, and reading all in French. These courses encouage students to build critical thinking and communication skills especially in a different language.
