In Grade 8, biology introduces students the the basics of how science works especially in this unit. Students learn about the cell cycle, plants and animals cells, and the process of how our human body functions. They focus on observing, understanding, and learning about how living things grow and survive using note taking, watching videos, working in laboratories, and more to build on their knowledge. Studying biology in Grade 8 helps them to develop and prepare for strengthening their curiosity and knowledge towards science.
In Grades 9 and 10, biology becomes more detailed than before. Students study topics such as overall genetics and human body functions. The unit of Science Biology explains how processes happen the way they do and how DNA replication is passed down by generations to generations. Studying Biology is helpful towards knowing our body better, genetics passed on from generations and our health.

CONCLUSION
Overall, Biology is studied because it helps young people understand scientific concepts better. From the Grades of 8 all the way to 12, students progressively improve as the subjects get more complex/advanced as the topics go through medical purposes, body cycles, and mainly health. Therefore in conclusion, Biology the unit of Science is important for being studied because makes us understand our environment and be aware with ourselves.

Lastly, in the Grades of 11 and 12, biology becomes more challenging but complex with its work as they are expected to prepare for more after post secondary. Students continue to learn about the body and its systems, evolution, and ecosystems. With learning these topics of the unit, Biology at these skills helps students understand conserving and climate change better at the advancements. It is highly important for students to study this as it would be recommended for students who look forward to studying anything Science related after secondary school.
